Getting to the Festival

The Festival is held at Mansfield (Massachusetts) High School and the adjacent Mansfield Middle School. The address of the High School is 250 East Street, Mansfield, MA 02048. Mansfield is located at the intersection of I-495 and I-95, southwest of Boston.

Parking is limited! Consider carpooling!

Festival parking is in two areas: the school complex parking lots, and satellite parking. The parking close to the school will very likely be sufficient until the following approximate times:
Friday: all evening
Saturday: 10:00am
Sunday: 10:30am
After those times, you can try the Festival site first, but be prepared to be redirected to Satellite Parking, about a 5 minute trip. (HC Parking is available at the Festival site in front of the High School.)

Driving Directions
From I-495
  • Take Exit 13A onto I-95 North
  • Follow directions for I-95 (next)

From I-95

  • Take Exit 7A onto Rt. 140 South
  • In 0.6 miles, take your choice:
To Satellite Parking
  • Take exit (on right) onto Forbes Blvd.
  • Follow Forbes even as it turns left in 0.5 miles.
  • The parking area will be on your right. Watch for signs
 To Festival
  • In 0.3 miles, turn left at light onto Rt. 106 East.
  • In about 1.8 miles, turn right onto East St.
  • Arrive at Festival site in about 0.5 miles
Satellite Parking is in large lots bounded by Cabot St., Forbes Blvd., West St., and Hampshire St. in Mansfield.

By Air

 The nearest commercial airports are Logan International Airport (BOS) servicing Boston, and T.F. Green Airport (PVD) servicing Providence RI.

From PVD: Airport Ground Transportation - A cab or airport limo is possible. The low cost alternative would be to take a bus to the Providence RI train station, then take the MBTA Commuter Rail three stops to the Mansfield Station. From there, you would call (NUMBER TBA for 2011) and ask for the free shuttle bus (on Mansfield Av. / Crocker St. near the station house) to the Festival. See this map of the station!

From BOS: Airport Ground Transportation - A cab or airport limo would be expensive. The low cost alternative would be to take the MBTA Silver Line from the terminal to South Station, then MBTA Commuter Rail to Mansfield (Providence line). From there, you would call (NUMBER TBA for 2011) and ask for the free shuttle bus (on Mansfield Av. / Crocker St. near the station house) to the Festival. See this map of the station!

General Aviation - Mansfield has an airport: Mansfield Municipal Airport (1B9)

By Train

 Mansfield is served by Amtrak and the MBTA Commuter Rail. The station is Mansfield (Providence line), and the schedule is not great. In fact, you would do well to check in at the Information Table when you arrive to try to arrange a ride back home after the Festival. From the South/West, travel to Providence Station (PVD), and take the MBTA Commuter Rail to Mansfield. From the North, take the train into North Station, Boston. From there, you need to transfer to South Station and then Commuter Rail to Mansfield. From there, you would call (NUMBER TBA for 2011) and ask for the free shuttle bus (on Mansfield Av. / Crocker St. near the station house) to the Festival. See this map of the station!

The local cab company is FOXFIELD TAXI (www.foxfieldtaxi.com). Contact them ahead of time at 1-800-585-8294 to arrange for a pickup. The cost is about $5 + tip.

By Bus

 The "FOXBORO MANSF MA" bus stop has limited service, but if you like buses, check it out. Try the Peter Pan Bus website.
