A historical musical drama, interweaving songs of the late 1930s with letters written by two young lovers, idealists and political activists, separated by war. George Watt, 23, fought fascism in Spain, 1937-38; his bride, Ruth, 22, suspended from college for Peace demonstrations, organized support in New York City. Audience participation, words provided.
