Greeter: Admits attendees from the waiting room and helps attendees get to the breakout rooms where events, sing-alongs, chats, etc are taking place.
Social Host: Monitors chat feed, posts links in the chat, tells attendees how to pin performers, other basic Zoom functions.
Technical Host*: Helps performers get the best sound possible, handles screen sharing as necessary, interface between the performer and the system, handles advanced Zoom functions.
Source Connect Tech*: Use SCN for live performances
Zoom Help Desk*: Helps attendees resolve Zoom issues, including accessing the NEFFA Zoom.
Video Editor: Pre-Festival, helps mix together a range of videos and music to be made available during the Festival.
All hosts may help attendees solve basic Zoom issues and/or direct them to our NEFFA help desk for support.
* NEFFA understands that some members of our community may have lost jobs and livelihoods due to the pandemic’s shutdown of the arts and related industries. Therefore, this year only, Technical Hosts and Zoom Help Desk staff may, if they choose, opt in to a NEFFA 2021 revenue share for performers. and skilled technical staff.
