Our Online Programs Begin Nov. 22!

Tune in and enjoy as NEFFA comes to you, with live online events every month! Our inaugural online event will be this Sunday, 11/22, starting at 7pm, featuring concert performances by Diane Taraz and Mike Agranoff. After the concert, all are welcome to stay online to hang out, socialize, and connect with our beloved NEFFA community. One option after the concert will be an experimental online group sing on a web application programmed by NEFFA performer Jeff Kaufman.

Music starts at 7pm. The event is FREE, but please consider donating to our performers, whose livelihoods have been impacted by the pandemic. Links will appear in the chat during the performance.

To register, please click here.

Visit the Facebook event for more details.

We hope that YOU will join us, and invite friends and family. All are welcome to socialize in post-concert breakout rooms – and SING! Our optional bonus activity will be a test drive of Jeff Kaufman’s “Bucket Brigade Singing,” a platform for singing, online, together!!

These monthly concerts will be recorded and will be made available on the website soon.

Concert program Nov. 22, 2020

7pm: Diane Taraz will transport us to another time, weaving together history, storytelling, and beautiful song in her program entitled A Free Woman: The Amazing Grace of Mum Bet.

8pm: Mike Agranoff is a master singer-songfinder whose material encompasses traditional ballads and tunes, Tin Pan Alley, contemporaries in the Folk World, heart-stopping spoken pieces, and his own witty pen. It’s delivered with skillful guitar and concertina accompaniment, a telepathic transmittal of the essence of the song, and a sly twinkle in the eye for some truly hilarious songs.
