What a fantastic line up we had hoped to have for 2019, but sadly the weather was against us. We will continue the tradition of bringing accomplished, accessible and dedicated teachers of the skill and art of contra dance music to the weekend.
Our 2019 Staff exemplified the tradition of excellence you have come to expect from this weekend. On Friday night, caller Bill Olson would have served up the Maine course, with a good mix of old and new dances to delight your dancing feet. Weekend callers Will Mentor and Sue Rosen would have presented a menu of contras, squares, and tried and true favorites. All of this to great New England style music as played by Donna Hébert, Gretchen Koehler, Max Cohen, Julie Metcalf, Mark Roberts and Bruce Rosen.
After dancing, playing and merry making, you will float home at the end of the weekend with a glow from a satisfying dance and community experience.
We hope you will join us for the next fabulous weekend.
