Deadline snuck up on you? It’s not too late, but you’d better hurry–you have until Tuesday, October 15 at 11:59pm. We want YOU to apply to perform at NEFFA!

We are particularly eager for applications involving mentoring for those who wish to improve on their skills, and structured jams — both instrumental and singing — especially slow jams. If you’re a new leader, now’s the time!

Put your thinking caps on, call your friends, and get ready to submit your NEFFA applications before October 15!

We always look forward to seeing many familiar faces and classic NEFFA sessions return (see Schedule), but we are especially excited to welcome new faces and hear your ideas for new sessions. If you have friends who might be a good fit for NEFFA, please pass this along.

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DEADLINE TO APPLY!!!  It is so much easier if the applications come in continuously over the application period, rather than all at once at the end. We are strict about these deadlines — NEFFA is a gigantic operation, and without structure everything would fall apart. THANK YOU in advance

We are particularly eager for applications involving folk traditions underrepresented at NEFFA, especially from Asia, Africa, and South America. If you know performers in these traditions, please pass this invitation along–personal networks are always the best! New to the Festival? NEFFA needs you! The NEFFA Board has started planning for next year’s Festival, which will take place at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough on April 25-27, 2025. We are also planning on another Ralph Page Dance Event in Worcester, January 10-11, 2025. Mark your calendars! NEFFA work is year-round.

We love to see your images of the Festival! In a week or two, we will be posting the recordings from the Seminar Room to videos.neffa.org. But there was much more happening at NEFFA! With eleven program spaces, a marketplace, hallway jamming, and thousands of friendly faces in joyous reunion, our photographers couldn’t be everywhere.
